Cloudcomputing, a Portuguese company specializing in identity and cybersecurity, has announced the acquisition of Innovate IT Ltd, a UK-based firm. This strategic move is aimed at accelerating Cloudcomputing's international expansion and enhancing its capabilities in the digital identity sector. The acquisition is expected to significantly boost Cloudcomputing's growth in 2026 and expand its delivery capacity in both the UK and US by 400%, in response to the increasing demand for identity and access management solutions driven by rising cyber risks and the adoption of artificial intelligence.
Innovate IT brings two decades of experience in identity, access management, and cloud security, with a strong presence in the UK and operations in the United States. Cloudcomputing, which reported €7 million in revenue in 2025, has delivered over 600 projects globally and operates in 70 countries, with a direct presence in Portugal, Spain, and the UK. This acquisition will strengthen Cloudcomputing's capabilities across the full identity value chain, from strategy to managed services, particularly in AI-driven environments.
Ricardo Martins, CEO of Cloudcomputing, stated that the acquisition enhances the company's ability to deliver complex, multinational projects while maintaining a focus on control, security, and operational efficiency. The deal also broadens Cloudcomputing's sector reach, allowing expansion into sports, entertainment, media, the public sector, and retail, alongside its existing presence in financial services, telecoms, insurance, logistics, legal, education, and healthcare.
The acquisition is part of Cloudcomputing's broader strategy to combine organic growth with acquisitions, aiming to scale internationally and deepen expertise in key cybersecurity and digital identity domains. Cloudcomputing is part of the Allurity Group, a European cybersecurity platform with around 800 employees across 18 countries, focused on delivering end-to-end security services.
